Idea 1: Masquerade Ball
Send your teens into the mysterious world of a masquerade ball. Students arrive dressed in elegant outfits, hiding their faces behind masks.
You can decorate the hall with candles and dark velvet drapes, turn on classical music, and invite your significant other for a waltz… if you can recognize them :)

Idea 2: Pajama Prom
How about creating a cozy and laid-back evening for your Sims, where no one cares about formal suits or dresses? Everyone should come in pajamas and slippers.
You can decorate the venue with pillows and fluffy rugs, and stock up on different board games to make the atmosphere as homey as possible. You can even throw in some sleeping bags, if you want your teens to have a sleepover.
Idea 3: Pool Party
What if, instead of the traditional dance night, you all move the party to the pool? A pool party is the perfect spring-summer version of school prom.
Swap fancy dresses and suits for swimsuits and bright shirts, add an awesome DJ, colorful drinks, and of course, plenty of pool floaties. Don’t forget to have a lifeguard on duty!

Idea 4: Retro Prom in the Style of the 70s–80s
Decorate the venue with shiny disco balls. Sims have to show up in the brightest looks possible: leggings, denim jackets, and of course, big hair. Don’t hold back on accessories! Set up a cool and vibrant photo zone for unforgettable screenshots.
Idea 5: Halloween Night
My personal favorite. Instead of throwing a separate party, you can celebrate Halloween right as part of the school prom and also have a family night separately. It’s simple: everyone shows up in whatever costume they like. You can also come with your significant other or with a friend in a matching costume.
