InZOI June Update: Active Schools, Clothing Stores, and First-Person View – Full Breakdown
After a long wait, the InZOI developers have finally released the long-awaited June update. The 9.4 GB patch turned out to be one of the largest since the game's launch — it adds an active school system, clothing store management, a first-person view, expanded vehicle physics, and much more. We've gone through all the new features and are ready to share our impressions.
Active School in InZOI: Teens Now Live a Full Life
The main highlight of the update is active schools, which have appeared in every city. Now teens and high school students can attend classes in real time instead of just disappearing into a "rabbit hole."
Classes run from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. Each character has their own schedule with different subjects – art, social studies, languages, science, programming, and others.
Throughout the day, you need to complete small tasks, and after school, homework remains. Occasionally, you'll come across unusual assignments – like writing an essay about microplastics or discussing future career plans with parents.
A romantic element has also been added. Teens can invite each other to prom – there's a special "Promposal" interaction for this.
They can also share headphones and listen to music together – a very cute animation that adds life to teen relationships. Numerous new romantic interactions have also been added.
Four School Clubs
At school, you can join one of four clubs:
American Football / Rugby
Programming
Cheerleading
Cooking
To join, you need at least level 2 in the corresponding skill. However, if you befriend club members or leaders, you can get in without it. Club activities take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Babies and Their Parents in InZOI: New Possibilities
Infants and toddlers haven't been left out either. Three new outfits, numerous accessories, and six new hairstyles have been added for the little ones. But the main addition is new interactions.
Toddlers can now be placed in high chairs and fed not just formula but other foods as well. However, there's a downside: toddlers can throw tantrums and toss their bottles on the floor, leaving dirty dishes for parents to clean up.
Your Own Clothing Store
The developers have added a new type of business – a clothing store. It works similarly to other establishments like hair salons.

The concept is simple: you place mannequins in the store, dress them in outfits, and customers come in, browse, try on, and buy. Moreover, mannequins can be set to a specific clothing category, and the system will automatically generate random outfits. A nice bonus: outfits on mannequins don't disappear after being sold – you don't need to restock.

Routes on the Mini-Map
The mini-map, which appeared in the previous update, has become even more useful. You can now select any point on the map and plot a route. Navigation will show the path, and you can guide your character on foot or by car without opening the map each time. The route automatically clears when you reach your destination.

Controls and First-Person View in InZOI
For those who love full immersion, a first-person view has been added. You can switch to any character – even an infant. Controls are smooth, with no sudden movements or blur, so motion sickness shouldn't be an issue.

A Ring Menu has also been added, previously available only for console players with gamepads. You can now open it with the ` (tilde) key on the keyboard. The menu is customizable and provides quick access to the character editor, phone, and other features.

Advanced Driving and Vehicle Physics in InZOI
Cars now behave more realistically: they bounce on uneven surfaces, simulate suspension, and sway during sharp maneuvers. Enabling advanced driving mode gives you more responsive controls, but you'll need to be more careful.
And if you want to test the ragdoll physics and run someone over with your car... be prepared for a one-day jail sentence. Yes, this even applies to fatal accidents. Destructible objects like scaffolding have also appeared on the roads.
Updated Phone Interface
The phone call interface has also been revamped – it now looks like a full-fledged app on the screen. Parents can call to check if you're eating properly, and classmates can invite you to study at the new library.
The update truly turned out to be massive. While the previous patch focused on improving infants and technical systems, this one is entirely dedicated to immersing players in the world of teenage life.
The developers are clearly aiming for long-term gameplay and family dynasties. Many activities have been added for both teens and toddlers. Hopefully, future updates will also pay attention to other age groups – such as children and elderly characters.
Nevertheless, Krafton's work is impressive: they regularly communicate with the community, add requested features, and release major updates that noticeably improve the game.
